Cancellation
This insurance covers ceremonial attire, flowers, photographs, caterers, transport, accommodation, and services from any other wedding supplier which has been booked but not used due to the unavoidable cancellation or curtailment of the wedding or reception due to reasons listed*.
Rearrangement of Wedding and / or Reception
If due to the unavoidable cancellation or curtailment of the wedding or reception due to reasons listed*, this insurance will reimburse you any additional costs incurred in rearranging the wedding and/or reception.
(* The venue being unavailable through damage and other reasons; death, accidental illness or injury to bride, civil partner, groom, or close relative; accidental loss or severe damage to ceremonial attire; redundancy; overseas forces posting; non-appearance of registrar / minister)
Wedding Gifts
The insurance will cover you for the loss or damage to wedding gifts due to accident, fire or theft whilst being stored by you or your parents. Wedding Gifts are also insured whilst they are in transit or on display at the wedding reception.
Photography and Video
This cover will reimburse you for unforeseen expenses incurred to take wedding photographs and videos as a result of the non-appearance of the pre-booked photographer, the loss or damage to the original film or negatives before copies are made, or the non-development of the original film or negatives.
Legal Expenses
You will be insured for legal costs incurred in the pursuit of legal proceedings against third parties for compensation owed arising from injury or death.
Personal Liability
The insurance covers your legal liability arising from accidental injury to third parties or damage to third party property.
Ceremonial Attire
This insurance covers the reinstatement or replacement of bridal attire if it is lost or stolen while in your, or a close relative's, possession up to one month before the ceremony. It also covers loss or damage to ceremonial attendants attire for up to 48 hours before the ceremony; and the financial failure of the supplier (through purchase or hire) of the ceremonial attire.
Wedding Rings, Wedding Cake, and Flowers or Floral Displays
You will be covered in the event of the loss or damage to wedding rings, flowers, and the wedding cake.
Wedding Transport
You will be insured if the private hire firm or individual with which you have booked transport arrangements fails to meet their contractual obligations.
Wedding Suppliers
This insurance covers you in the event of the bankruptcy or liquidation of any pre-booked wedding service supplier.
Marquee Cover (Optional)
If paid for, this insurance covers you in the event of the loss or damage to the marquee.
